Tatar Art Projects (TAP) is a luxury hospitality art consultancy that has spent nearly three decades building art programs for the world’s leading hotel brands. Our clients include Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Park Hyatt, Rosewood, Fairmont, Hilton and the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Our projects span North America, Europe and the Middle East, with offices in Canada, United States and Europe.

We work alongside interior designers and architects to create place-based art programs rooted in the narrative identity of each property. Every program begins wih research into the cultural, historical, and material character of a place and results in a curated colletion that no other hotel could have.

Our scope covers the full lifecycle of a hospitality art program: concept development, artist sourcing, legal and procurement, budgeting, fabrication oversight, logistics, and installation management. We work with emerging and established artists, commission site-specific works all within budget and on time.

What designers, developers and owners consistently say about TAP: we deliver on time, on budget, and we handle the complexity so they don’t have to. In two words —PROBLEM SOLVERS.

Founded by Judith Tatar, TAP and its talented team brings the curatorial rigor of the contemporary art world to the operation demands of luxury hospitality. Judith’s career began as a gallery owner and corporate art consultant before she pioneered the model of narrative-driven, place based art programming that TAP is known for today.
